REGEN Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool on OSMOSIS — June 23-June 28, 2021
As announced on Monday, REGEN tokens will be part of the very first Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) event hosted on the Osmosis DEX. This is an important moment for the broader Regen Network community. For the first time, there will be liquidity between the REGEN and ATOM tokens, price discovery, and anyone can purchase REGEN tokens. And of course, all of this is a prerequisite for most activity on-chain as transaction fees are paid in REGEN, and is a critical step to being able to issue, buy, and sell ecological assets on-chain, like carbon credits.
I have been involved in the development of Regen Network since its inception. This has been what the vast majority of my professional time has gone into over the past four years and I anticipate that the Regen Network community and technology will be an important part of the rest of my life; I have way too many ideas of what to deploy on Regen Ledger than can ever be carried out in one lifetime!
It is with great joy and anticipation that I would like to announce the fact that I am joining a group of initial liquidity providers for this upcoming LBP. I plan to dedicate up to 500,000 REGEN tokens in some combination in the LBP and the 50:50 REGEN:ATOM liquidity pool that will follow the LBP. I acquired these tokens as an early participant in the token sale back in 2018. It was my absolute pleasure then to commit my capital to enable the Regen Network to blossom, and it is my pleasure now to commit these REGEN tokens into these liquidity pools to enable the broader Regen Network community to grow and develop.
Details of the Liquidity Bootstrapping Event:
The REGEN-ATOM LBP will launch on Osmosis DEX on June 23rd and run until June 28, 2021. This pool will give buyers the opportunity to finally get their hands on some REGEN tokens and will establish a price and be the start of ongoing liquidity for the REGEN token.

Where: Osmosis Dex
Starting liquidity: somewhere between 600,000 and 1 Million REGEN paired with up to 10,000 ATOMs at a 90:10 ratio
